Amen amen to this post. You’re so right about the social pressure to be independent. It can become your whole identity if you allow it to, as I have realized recently in my own life.

“He gives me strength, and courage and a reason to get out of bed in the morning on those days when all I want to do is pretend the world isn’t there.” – oh, i so know those days!

Deep stuff… is this really my youngest daughter’s musings?

Good on yer kidda [to use the vernacular], we really don’t need to be so independent and become reclusive.. we would miss out on so much of life, both now and eternally.

Thanks. That’s very nice.
It’s hard to explain why, but as an unheard of band/musician who assumes only their friends like their music, it’s a joy to stumble across lovely words like these from strangers. And when there’s no obvious link to how they could have found out about us (despite some serious Blog-stalking it becomes a minor obsession to try to work out the connection.
Therefore if you were to drop me an email explaining who your friend is that gave you the EP I will be able to sleep at night and in return send you another cd with other tracks and some nice bonus things for free. Deal?

Just an fyi, It’s spelled Cary Grant. Not Carey.
But that aside, I completely agree. They don’t make movie stars the way they used to.
